A Middle Tennessee native, Dr. Lesley Starnes is a board-certified dermatologist with more than 12 years of experience caring for a wide range of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic concerns.

Following residency, she practiced at the Jackson Clinic for three years before returning home to the Nashville area where she has served patients throughout Williamson and Davidson counties for the past nine years. Her approach combines clinical expertise, individualized treatment, and clear communication to help every patient feel heard and supported.

OUR PHILOSOPHY OF CARE

I knew from the age of eight that I wanted to become a physician. Watching my parents, a pastor and a social worker, devote their lives to serving others shaped my own desire to pursue medicine.

I discovered my calling in dermatology during my final year of medical school. I was drawn to its unique blend of medicine, surgery, and aesthetics, as well as the opportunity to care for patients of all ages and build lasting relationships.

Over the years, I have seen how concerns affecting the skin, hair, and nails can affect confidence and quality of life.

I believe medicine is about more than diagnosing and treating disease. It is also about recognizing the person within and addressing both the seen and unseen needs of each patient.

I founded Haven Dermatology to honor the divine worth in every person. Whether someone comes in for a medical concern, a procedure, or cosmetic care, I want them to feel seen, respected, and genuinely cared for.

My faith, family, and relationships remain central to who I am, and those values continue to shape the way I care for my patients.

A sanctuary is a place of healing. Haven is designed to be a calm, supportive space where patients feel safe bringing their whole selves, not just the concern that brought them in.
